Overview

This is a complete tank-to-house booster kit: the CPM158 centrifugal pump pre-assembled with an automatic flow controller, wiring and plug, plus a 25 mm suction hose kit. It gives up to 30 m head from a 0.75 kW motor. With the hose you can draw water from a tank and have working pressure at the taps in one afternoon, with no extra parts to chase.

The flow controller starts the pump when a tap opens and stops it when the flow stops. Performance points are 29.1 m at 10 L/min, 28.2 m at 20 L/min, 26 m at 40 L/min, 22.8 m at 60 L/min and 16.2 m at 80 L/min. A good rule is 10 m of head per 1 bar, so this kit suits a house with two bathrooms. Pick a pump whose head at your flow is above what the house needs. Where it works

It suits a house in Richards Bay that stores water in a ground tank, a guest farm near Klerksdorp, or a Gauteng home that wants better shower pressure. The pump must sit under a vented cover and be protected from rain and spray. Use it with clean water only.
