Ordering

How do I order from Kamano?

Add products to your cart and check out online, or send us your list for a quote. Online orders are confirmed by email straight away; quotes come back within one business day with VAT-inclusive pricing and a delivery date.

Can I get a quote instead of paying online?

Yes. Use Get a Quote to pick products, quantities and your delivery town, or upload a bill of quantities. You can also WhatsApp the list or a photo of the old unit to +27 73 679 0837.

Some products show "Request a Quote" instead of a price. Why?

Those items are built or configured to order (for example jetting machines and trailer combinations), so the price depends on the specification you choose. Request a quote and we will price the exact build.

Do you keep stock in Polokwane?

We hold stock at our Polokwane base and dispatch from there. Stock status is shown on every product page; if something is not in stock we tell you the lead time before you pay.

Can I collect my order?

Collection from our Polokwane base can be arranged by appointment. Contact us to confirm the order is ready before you travel. [Kamano to confirm collection availability.]

Delivery

Do you deliver to my area?

Yes. We deliver to all nine provinces of South Africa with our own trucks: farms, mines, depots and building sites included. We currently deliver within South Africa only.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes 1 to 3 days anywhere in South Africa, counted from dispatch in Polokwane. Very large or built-to-order items are scheduled with you when you order.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is charged on the total weight of your order and includes VAT: R550 up to 30 kg, R950 from 30 to 60 kg and R1,450 from 60 to 100 kg. Orders over 100 kg are delivered on quotation.

Is delivery free?

Yes, on orders of R20,000 or more (VAT-inclusive product total). Free delivery is applied automatically at checkout, at any weight. Coupon KH026 also applies free delivery, but only on orders of R20,000 or more.

My order weighs more than 100 kg. How is it delivered?

Heavy orders such as bowsers, large tanks and brick machines are delivered on quotation. Click Request Delivery Quote in your cart and we reply within one business day with a delivery price and date. If your order is R20,000 or more, delivery is free at any weight.

Will you deliver to a farm or mine without a street address?

Yes. Give us GPS coordinates or a pin, the nearest town and an on-site contact number. Tell us about gates, gravel roads or site access rules so our driver arrives prepared.

Payment and VAT

Do your prices include VAT?

Yes. Every price on this site is in South African Rand and includes 15% VAT. Your cart, checkout and tax invoice show how much VAT is included.

Will I get a valid tax invoice?

Yes. Every order comes with a tax invoice showing Kamano Holdings (Pty) Ltd, our VAT number 4270305164, registration number 2013/104729/07, the invoice number and date, and the VAT amount, so VAT-registered businesses can claim input tax.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Card and instant EFT payments online, and standard EFT against a pro-forma invoice for quoted orders. [Payment gateways go live once Kamano activates its accounts.]

Can I pay with a company purchase order?

Yes, for approved trade accounts. Send the purchase order with your quote request and we confirm terms before dispatch.

Trade accounts

Do you offer trade or bulk pricing?

Yes. Contractors, municipalities, resellers, farms and mines can request trade pricing on bulk and repeat orders. Send your list through Get a Quote and mention trade pricing.

How do I open a trade account?

Email sales@kamanoindustrial.co.za with your company name, registration and VAT numbers, delivery addresses and the products you buy regularly. We confirm account terms by email. [Kamano to confirm trade-account criteria.]

Can you quote against a tender or BOQ?

Yes. Upload your bill of quantities on the Get a Quote page or email it to us. We quote line by line with VAT-inclusive prices and delivery to site.

Returns and warranty

Can I return something I bought online?

Yes. Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act you may cancel an online purchase within 7 days of delivery without a reason; return it unused and in its packaging. Full details are in our Refunds and Returns Policy.

What if a product is faulty?

Under the Consumer Protection Act you may return defective goods within 6 months of delivery for repair, replacement or refund. Contact us first so we can arrange collection or assess the fault.

Do products carry a warranty?

Yes. Equipment carries the manufacturer or supplier warranty against defects; the period depends on the product and is stated on the product page or quote. Ask us before you buy if you need it in writing.

Who pays for return delivery?

If the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item, we cover collection. If you cancel a correct, undamaged item within the 7-day cooling-off period, you pay the cost of returning it.

Technical

Can I run a 12 V diesel pump off a bakkie battery?

Yes. 12 V transfer pumps are made to run from a vehicle or trailer battery using the supplied clamps. Keep the engine running for long transfers so the battery is not drained, and check the pump duty cycle on its spec table.

What is the difference between 12 V, 24 V and 230 V fuel pumps?

12 V pumps suit bakkies and light vehicles, 24 V pumps suit trucks and heavy plant, and 230 V pumps run from mains or a generator for fixed tanks at a depot or workshop. Choose by where the tank sits and what power is available there.

Can a diesel transfer pump be used for petrol?

No. Standard diesel pumps are not rated for petrol. Petrol needs explosion-proof (Ex-rated) equipment; ask us for the correct pump and meter.

What size water tank do I need for load-shedding or water outages?

Work from daily use: a typical household uses roughly 150 to 250 litres per person per day. A 2,500 L tank covers a family of four for a few days; 5,000 L gives more margin and suits a small farmhouse. Pair it with a pressure or booster pump that has a controller.

Are your water tanks suitable for drinking water?

Our water tanks are made for potable water storage. Check the product page for the material and grade, and clean the tank and fittings before first use.

How do I choose a brick making machine?

Start with your target output per day and the block size you will sell. Manual and egg-layer machines suit start-ups; electric vibrating machines raise output and consistency. Every machine page lists output, block sizes, power and weight.

What is a honey sucker?

A honey sucker is a vacuum tanker that empties septic tanks, pit latrines and sumps. A vacuum pump draws the waste into a sealed tank for transport and disposal. We supply skid, bakkie and trailer units in several capacities.

Do you supply datasheets?

Yes. Where a datasheet exists, you can download it from the product page, or ask us and we email it with your quote.
