This 0.75 kW peripheral pump kit has the highest head in the peripheral kits, up to 60 m at 60 L/min, with the flow switch and lead-out cable included.

Peripheral pumps build pressure rather than volume, so this suits long or uphill pipe runs, drip systems and sprinklers. Maximum operating pressure is 8 bar. The 0.75 kW kit is lighter than the same-power monoblock kit. See further models in water pumps and booster pumps.

Where it works

It does well on uphill irrigation blocks and vineyards in the Western Cape, pressure feeds to roof tanks in Gauteng suburbs, and washing systems at depots. For a flow-oriented alternative see 0.75 kW monoblock pump kit, or the lower-power 0.55 kW peripheral pump kit.

Installation notes: mount the pump on rubber feet near the water source, with a short airtight suction line and a foot valve and strainer if it lifts water. This model gives 60 L/min (3.6 m³/h) at 60 m of head, with a maximum working pressure of 8 bar, so do not leave it running against a closed outlet. Run the pump at least once a week, keep sand out of the water, and let a qualified electrician make the electrical connection.

Questions about this product

Peripheral or monoblock for a drip system?

Peripheral gives higher pressure on a lower flow, which is what drip and micro-sprinklers like. Monoblock gives more volume for filling and larger sprinklers. Tell us the system and we will recommend one. A small pressure vessel on the outlet cuts the number of starts on a drip layout and is cheap to add.

How strong is the pressure?

Head reaches up to 60 m, with a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar. Always stay below the limit when fitting pressure-reducing or shut-off parts. Do not close a valve on the outlet and leave the pump running, since a peripheral pump will heat up and force the seal.

Does the kit have a cable?

Yes. The kit includes a flow-control switch and a lead-out cable, and you add the pipework. Unions, a foot valve and pipe are bought separately, and we can quote for them if you send your layout. Connect the cable to your supply through a proper breaker.

What is the delivery cost?
