Description

Overview

This 0.75 kW monoblock pump kit gives 100 L/min (6 m³/h) at up to 32 m head, with an automatic flow-control switch that starts the pump when pressure drops and stops it when flow ends.

It sits in the middle of the monoblock range: more flow than the 0.55 kW kit, lower cost than the 1.1 kW. A permanently engaged capacitor motor makes it suitable for a house or yard. Other sizes are in our water pumps and booster pumps selection.

Where it works

It suits a farm homestead in the Waterberg or a smallholding in Gauteng that boosts pressure from a rainwater tank. It also feeds sprinkler lines and vegetable tunnels, and works for aquaculture water supply. A bigger flow is available in 1.1 kW monoblock pump, pump only, or add a tank with 5000 L tank with a 0.75 kW monoblock pump.

Installation notes: mount the pump on a firm, level base close to the water source and keep the suction line short, airtight and rising gently towards the pump so air cannot collect. Fit a foot valve wherever the pump lifts water, and fill the pump body before the first start. Rated flow is 100 L/min (6 m³/h), so choose pipe sizes that do not choke it and keep the run as straight as you can. Size the cable and breaker for the motor, and let a qualified electrician make the connection.

Questions about this product

Is the switch already wired?

The switch is supplied in the kit with the lead-out cable, but you connect it into your supply and pipework. Use a qualified electrician for the wiring and have the pump primed before starting. The switch senses flow, so set it up on the outlet pipe where the pump discharges.

What is the difference between this kit and the pump only?

The kit adds the automatic flow switch and lead-out cable. The pump alone has the same performance, 100 L/min at 32 m, but you need your own control. Choose the kit when you want automatic start and stop out of the box, and the pump only when you already own a controller.

How far can it lift from a tank below?

Suction lift is up to 6 m with a foot valve, depending on altitude. At Highveld altitudes expect less than at the coast. Keep the suction pipe short and airtight. Altitude lowers the practical lift, and a long or leaking suction pipe will cut it further.

What does delivery cost?
