Overview
This 5000 L water tank with 0.75 kW monoblock pump and controller is a straight storage-and-pressure set for a house, smallholding or workshop. The monoblock pump moves 100 L/min at up to 32 m head, and the controller starts it when you open a tap and stops it when the flow stops.
The pump has a cast-iron body, brass or stainless impeller and a graphite/ceramic seal, with a thermal protector in the winding. It is the middle step between the 0.55 kW and 1.1 kW sets in the tank and pump combo kits range. Tank and pump arrive as separate items so you can position each one where it suits the site.

Questions about this product
Do I need a pressure switch as well?
No. The controller supplied with the pump starts it when the pressure drops at a tap and stops it again when flow ends. You still need to connect everything correctly, and the pump must be filled with water before its first start. Ask us if you want a second outlet or a long pipe run checked.
Can this pump lift water from a borehole?
Not from depth. It is a centrifugal monoblock for pushing water from your tank, with suction lift of up to 6 m using a foot valve. For deep boreholes you need a submersible pump. We can help you match the right borehole pump to this tank if you share the depth.
How is the set delivered to a farm?
It travels on our own trucks from Polokwane in 1 to 3 days. At 92.2 kg it falls in the 60 to 100 kg band at R1,450, unless your order reaches R20,000 (VAT incl.) and ships free. The tank is bare and the pump is boxed separately.
Can I run it through load-shedding?
The motor needs 230 V, so it needs mains, a generator or an inverter that can handle the starting current of a 0.75 kW motor. The 5000 L tank means you still have stored water to use by gravity while the power is off.
