Overview
This 1.1 kW monoblock pump only delivers 125 L/min (6 m³/h) at up to 37 m head, for tank transfer, irrigation and pressure jobs where you want to supply your own control gear.
It uses a single-phase 220 V motor with permanently engaged capacitor and thermal overload protection, and a cast-iron body with brass or stainless impeller. At 13.2 kg it is almost the same weight as the 0.75 kW model. See the kit with flow switch in water pumps and booster pumps.

Where it works
Use it to move water from dams to header tanks in the Free State, to run sprinkler blocks in the Western Cape, or to feed wash bays at depots. Installation notes: mount the pump on a firm, level base close to the water source and keep the suction line short, airtight and rising gently towards the pump so air cannot collect. Fit a foot valve wherever the pump lifts water, and fill the pump body before the first start. Rated flow is 125 L/min (6 m³/h), so choose pipe sizes that do not choke it and keep the run as straight as you can. Size the cable and breaker for the motor, and let a qualified electrician make the connection.

Questions about this product
Can I run this on a generator?
Yes, if the generator has enough capacity for the motor starting load, which is higher than the running load of 1.1 kW. Tell us your generator size and we will check it. An inverter must also be sized for the surge, not only for the 1.1 kW running figure.
How does the weight compare to the 0.75 kW pump?
It is almost the same: 14.1 kg shipping against 14.3 kg. The supplier data shows a tiny inversion, but both pumps sit in the cheapest delivery band, so the difference does not change what you pay. Choose between them by flow and head, not by weight.
Does the pump have a pressure switch?
No. It is pump only. Add a pressure switch or controller, or choose the kit with the flow switch included. A pressure switch with a small pressure vessel is the usual way to add automatic control, and the vessel cuts the number of starts.
