Overview

This 0.75 kW monoblock pump only is a clean-water centrifugal pump delivering 100 L/min at up to 32 m head, for people who want to fit their own switch, tank or controller.

The motor runs on single-phase 220 V with a permanently engaged capacitor and a thermal protector in the winding. Suction lift reaches 6 m with a foot valve. The kit version in water pumps and booster pumps adds the flow switch and cable.

Where it works

It is used for sprinkler and garden irrigation, vegetable greenhouse supply and tap-water pressurisation. Farmers in KZN and Mpumalanga also fit it as a replacement pump on existing tank lines. Installation notes: mount the pump on a firm, level base close to the water source and keep the suction line short, airtight and rising gently towards the pump so air cannot collect. Fit a foot valve wherever the pump lifts water, and fill the pump body before the first start. Rated flow is 100 L/min (6 m³/h), so choose pipe sizes that do not choke it and keep the run as straight as you can. Size the cable and breaker for the motor, and let a qualified electrician make the connection.

Questions about this product

Is this pump self-priming?

Not as supplied. Suction lift reaches 6 m only with a foot valve, so fill the pump body with water for each fresh start and keep the suction line airtight. Drain-back and air leaks are the usual causes of lost prime, so check the foot valve and unions first.

Can I use it for drinking water supply?

It pumps clean water, but we do not claim drinking-water approval for this model. If potable standards matter on your site, ask us before you buy. Rainwater and borehole water both work, but a filter keeps sand and rust flakes out of the impeller.

Why is the weight different from the kit?

The pump alone is 13.4 kg net, and the kit adds the switch and cable. Both fall in the cheapest delivery band, up to 30 kg at R550, so the difference does not change what you pay for delivery.

Do you deliver to remote farms?

This item ships at 14.3 kg, so it falls in our up to 30 kg delivery band at R550. Our own trucks deliver from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days.
