Overview

This is a complete tank-to-house booster kit. A 0.37 kW QB60 peripheral pump comes pre-assembled with an automatic flow controller, wiring and a moulded 3-point plug, and a 25 mm suction hose kit lets it draw water straight from a tank, for example a JoJo tank.

Fit the hose between tank and pump, connect your delivery pipe, plug in and it runs by itself, starting when a tap opens and stopping when the flow stops. Maximum head is 36 m. At 10 L/min you still have 28 m, and 18 m at 20 L/min.

Where it works

This is the one-box answer for a house or cottage with a ground-level or stand-mounted tank in Gauteng, the Western Cape or KwaZulu-Natal, where you would otherwise hunt for hose and fittings. It suits one or two taps. A double-storey house needs more head, so count taps and storeys; every 10 m is about 1 bar. Send us your setup and we will recommend a pump. It is for clean water.
