Overview

This 60 L horizontal steel pressure tank is the middle size in our bladder tank range. It holds pressurised water for a booster pump system and gives it up on demand, so the pump is not forced to start for every small draw. The EPDM bladder separates water from air. The tank is carbon steel, rated to 8 bar working pressure, with a 1 inch / 25 mm connection. Kamano supplies it from Polokwane to all nine provinces.

Where it works

Sixty litres is a practical size for a household booster, a small guest lodge, a farm homestead or a workshop supply. It gives the pump longer rest between starts than the 24 L size, without needing the floor space of the 100 L tank. In Limpopo and Mpumalanga, where pumps often feed from boreholes, a tank like this takes the strain off the pump on low demand. Pick the size from your pump flow and cut-in settings. Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Mbombela, eMalahleni, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Tzaneen and Rustenburg. At about 11 kg shipped, it falls in the up to 30 kg band at R550, and free delivery applies from R20,000 VAT incl. Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model.
