This 1200 litre tank with a 0.55 kW monoblock water pump with controller is a matched water storage and pressure set, supplied together so you can store water and pump it from one order. The 1200 litre tank and 0.55kw monoblock pump combo gives you 92 L/min (5.5 m³/h) at up to 26 m head. The monoblock is a compact centrifugal pump with low-noise running, and an automatic pressure control switch starts it at 1.5 bar and stops it when taps close.
The 1200 L slimline tank is a vertical rotomoulded polyethylene (LLDPE) tank measuring 955 mm across and 1800 mm tall, a squatter shape that suits spots with limited height. A 1200 L tank gives a little more reserve than a 1000 L unit and stands about 1.8 m tall. The monoblock’s flow suits homestead pressure, drip lines, stock troughs and wash-down points on a Free State grain farm or a Limpopo citrus block. On the right site it works as rainwater harvesting, a borehole buffer or a back-up supply for load-shedding days and municipal outages. Use clean water only, at no more than 40 °C.

Does the 1200 L tank need a base?
Yes. A slim tank must sit on a level, properly prepared base or a tank stand and stay in place once full. A full 1200 L tank holds about 1.2 tonnes of water, so make the slab or stand strong enough. The tank measures 955 mm across.
Can I run this pump off a generator or inverter during load-shedding?
The pump needs single-phase mains power. A generator or inverter can run it if it copes with the motor's starting surge, which is higher than the running load. Tell us the 0.55 kW pump you are looking at and we will help you check the supply is big enough. Never run the pump dry.
