Overview

This QB-60 combo pairs a 0.37 kW peripheral vane pump with a pressure control switch, so the pump starts and stops on demand instead of running on a manual switch. The pump gives up to 38 m of head and a maximum flow of 25 L/min (1,500 L/h) on clean water.

The cast iron body has brass inserts in the volute to limit mineral build-up, the impeller is brass with radial peripheral vanes, and the motor is a single-phase 220 V, 50 Hz unit with capacitor and thermal overload protector. Ports are 1 inch in and out.

Where it works

Use the combo where a tank sits above or beside a small house and you only need pressure at one or two taps: a farm cottage in the Waterberg, a granny flat in Gauteng, or a guest room on a Limpopo lodge. It is for clean water up to 40 °C with no abrasive particles, and must be installed under a vented cover away from rain and spray. Need only the pump head?
