Overview

This 270 W circulator is the largest of our three hot water circulator pumps, with 32 mm ports and a maximum flow of 9.6 m³/h at up to 8 m head. It keeps heated water moving round a closed loop so hot water reaches the taps quickly and heat spreads evenly. It has three speed settings, drawing 150, 210 or 270 W. Choose it when your pipe runs are long or wide, for example a big home, a guest lodge or a small commercial heating circuit. For smaller loops, the 200 W model with 25 mm ports is enough.

It takes liquids from 2 to 110 °C at a maximum system pressure of 10 bar and an ambient temperature of up to 40 °C. Protection is IP44 with Class H insulation, on 220 V, 50 Hz mains.

Where it works

Typical uses are hot water service systems in a large Johannesburg home, solar hot water loops on a farm in the Free State, underfloor heating, and heating or air-conditioning circuits. It is made for clean, non-toxic, chemically neutral liquids free from solids and mineral oils. Mount it on a vertical pipeline so the motor shaft is horizontal.
