Description
Overview
This stock brick machine makes six stock bricks per drop with a hand lever. Fill the six cavities, pull the lever to compact the mix and release the bricks onto the slab to cure.
Six per drop gives a manual yard real output without paying for power. The lever packs each brick more firmly than pressing by hand, so edges stay sharp. If you would like vibration for denser bricks with the same count, see the electric 6-drop stock brick mould.
Key features
- Six stock brick cavities
- Lever-operated press
- No electricity or fuel
- Steel construction
- Low upkeep: clean and oil after each shift
Where it works
This stock brick machine suits brickyards in Limpopo and the Eastern Cape selling to local builders, township entrepreneurs supplying backyard room builds in Gauteng, and farms making their own bricks for housing and sheds. For maxi bricks too, the manual 5-drop maxi brick machine is the twin model, and the manual 1-drop hollow block machine adds blocks. Browse all brick making machines.
A lever machine rewards a steady rhythm. Put one person on the mixer, one on filling and pressing, and one carrying to the curing area, and output climbs quickly. Grease the pivot points weekly, scrape the mould clean at the end of each day, and measure cement by the bucket so every batch matches the last.

Questions about this product
Manual or electric: which stock brick machine should I buy?
Buy manual if power is unreliable, your budget is tight or you are just starting. Choose electric vibration if you want denser bricks and already have steady buyers. Both make six per drop, so the speed is similar; the difference is compaction.
How long before I can sell the bricks?
Keep fresh bricks damp and shaded for about a week, then stack them. Most yards wait two to four weeks before selling so the bricks gain strength. Selling too soon leads to broken bricks on the truck and unhappy builders.
What does delivery to East London cost?
The machine ships at 43 kg, which puts it in the 30 to 60 kg band at R950 to East London or anywhere else in South Africa. Our own trucks run from Polokwane and normally arrive in 1 to 3 days. Orders of R20,000 or more including VAT are delivered free.
