Description

Overview

The CP80 is a high-flow pump with a 2.2 kW motor, 2″ ports, 400 L/min (24 m³/h) maximum flow and a 30 m shut-off head. It is designed for moving a lot of clean water at modest pressure.

Read the curve as 27.6 m at 100 L/min, 22 m at 200 L/min, 16.3 m at 300 L/min and 10.8 m at 350 L/min. It runs on 380 V three-phase. Suction lift is up to 7 m, liquids must be clean, non-abrasive and below 40 °C, and the build is cast iron with a brass impeller, a 304 stainless steel shaft, a ceramic-graphite seal and an IP44 motor with thermal overload protection. If you only need to boost pressure, the 2.2 kW twin-stage 2CPM25/160A reaches 60 m instead.

Put it on big irrigation headers, dam-to-reservoir transfers and tanker filling, on a Northern Cape lucerne farm, a Western Cape orchard or a Limpopo citrus block. Which supply does the CP80 use?

The CP80 runs on 380 V, 50 Hz three-phase power. Use a starter rated for a 2.2 kW motor and check the nameplate when it arrives.

Will it suit a sprinkler block?

Yes, if the block needs volume at under about 20 m of total head. At 200 L/min you get 22 m, and at 300 L/min 16.3 m. Add elevation and pipe losses before you choose.

Do you deliver to Upington?

Yes, with our own trucks from Polokwane in 1 to 3 days. At about 23 kg the pump falls in the up to 30 kg band at R550, and orders from R20,000 ship free.
