Overview
The 1.1 kW i-Prez booster pump system holds water pressure constant by changing the pump speed to match demand, so a second tap or a hosepipe does not drop the pressure at the shower. A pressure transmitter reads the line, and the built-in variable speed drive speeds the motor up or slows it down to hold your set pressure.
It arrives as a complete set: a horizontal multistage pump with stainless steel wetted parts, the drive, a pressure tank, a 5-way connector with non-return valve, a pressure gauge and the transmitter. Questions about this product
Will this booster pump give me constant pressure at the shower?
Yes. That is its job. A pressure transmitter feeds the variable speed drive, which changes motor speed to hold the pressure you set between 1 and 9 bar. When one tap is open the pump runs slowly, and when several open it speeds up. You do not get the sudden pressure swings of a fixed-speed pump.

Can I connect it to a JoJo tank or borehole supply?
Yes, as long as the pump is fed with clean water and stays flooded, because it is not listed as self-priming. A tank or header tank on the inlet works well. The liquid limit is 70 °C. For a borehole, give it a stable supply and keep it undercover, as ambient temperature should stay between 0 and 40 °C.
What protection does it have?
The drive protects the pump against dry running, overload, unbalanced voltage and short circuits. This is useful on farms and in areas with load-shedding and unstable supply, where a plain pump can burn out. It is not a substitute for a surge arrestor, so fit proper protection on your distribution board.
