Overview
The RUC-750 is a 0.75 kW booster pump that changes its speed to keep your water pressure constant, and lets you watch and adjust it from your phone. A permanent magnet synchronous motor and a variable frequency drive sit in one compact unit, so it uses less electricity than a fixed-speed pump doing the same job.

The RUC-750 suits a family house in Gauteng, a townhouse complex, a guest cottage or a small estate where weak shower pressure and stop-start pumping are the complaints. It also does well on a rainwater tank in KZN or the Western Cape, where a steady supply from tank to taps matters more than raw flow. Where load-shedding forces an inverter, the lower running load helps. Pairing two units in Pump Link Mode gives larger homes extra capacity and a built-in spare. Questions about this product
Does the pump still work if my Wi-Fi goes down?
Yes. Wi-Fi is only for monitoring and changing settings from your phone through the Smart Life app. The pump runs independently, and all settings are stored on the unit itself. During load-shedding, when your router is off, it keeps holding pressure as soon as the pump has power.
How much does delivery cost for the RUC-750?
At 9.5 kg shipping weight it sits in the up to 30 kg band, so delivery is R550, and it is free on orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.). We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces, normally in 1 to 3 days, including farms and sites outside town.
Can I run two RUC-750 pumps together?
Yes, through Pump Link Mode. The first pump starts on its own, and the second only starts when demand goes beyond what the first can supply. They take turns starting to share wear, and if one fails the other carries on. This suits larger homes, estates and townhouse complexes.
Is it suitable for a borehole or hot water?
It is meant for clean water up to 40 °C, so it is not suitable for hot water lines. It suits tank-fed or mains-fed pressure boosting. For a borehole, pump into a storage tank first and boost from there, because the unit is not listed as self-priming and has a maximum suction of 8 m.
