Superflo Pool Pump Clamp Set, Complete

Description

Overview

This is a complete replacement clamp for the Superflo pool pump. The clamp holds the pump body together and keeps it sealed, so a broken or corroded clamp lets the housing leak or draw air. Replace it as soon as you see rust, cracks or a loose fit. The part code is 500-6044, and it fits Superflo pool pumps. Other spares and pumps are in our pool, pond and spa equipment range.

Key features

• Complete clamp set for the Superflo pump body
• Keeps the pump body sealed and secure
• Replaces broken, cracked or corroded clamps
• Part code 500-6044

Where it works

Clamps take a beating in coastal areas such as Durban and Richards Bay, where salt air corrodes metal fixings, and on pump pads that sit in the sun and rain year after year. A loose or damaged clamp usually shows up as a weep at the joint between the pump body and the motor housing, or as air bubbles in the strainer basket. Switch the power off and release pressure before you work on the pump, and replace the O-rings and seal if you open it for servicing. See our mechanical shaft seal and the 0.75 kW Swimflo 2 pool pump if the pump needs more than a clamp. Not sure it fits? Send us a photo of your pump or its label and we will confirm before you order.
