Overview

This mechanical shaft seal replaces the worn seal behind the impeller on Superflo, Superflo 2 and Swimflo 2 pool pumps. A leaking shaft seal is the most common reason a pool pump drips water under the motor, and replacing it stops the leak before water reaches the motor bearings and does expensive damage. Where it works

Pool owners and service technicians in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape reach for this part when a pump starts dripping from the seal housing, or when a pump has been standing for a long time and the seal has dried out. Replace the seal as soon as you see water under the motor, rather than waiting for the bearings to rust. Isolate the power before you open the pump, and have a qualified person do the job if you are unsure. A good moment to service the pump is when you fit a new 0.75 kW Swimflo 2 pool pump, or when you add a Series 2 multiport valve to the filter. Not sure it fits? This part is supplied to order, so allow 2 to 4 working days before dispatch. Kamano then delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Mbombela, Kimberley and East London. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) qualify for free delivery.
