Description

Overview

Key features

1.5 kW pump with 0.75 kW motor for medium to large pools
Quiet operation from an advanced motor design
Corrosion-resistant construction for outdoor use
Energy-conscious engineering with strong water flow
Self-priming for installation above or below ground
Fits standard plumbing and filtration setups
Low-profile twist-and-lock lid for simple maintenance

Where it works

It suits bigger family pools in Johannesburg or Welkom and farm-house pools in the Free State, where long hot summers keep the pump working. Place it on a level, stable surface away from flood-prone areas.

Compare with the 1.1 kW Superflo 2 if your pool is larger. A qualified professional electrician must complete the installation.

Questions about this product

Why is it listed as a 1.5 kW pump with a 0.75 kW motor?

The listing gives the pump end as 1.5 kW and the motor as 0.75 kW. The motor is the electrical rating, so size your breaker and cable to 0.75 kW and ask us if you need the rated figures confirmed.

Which sand filter should I use?

A 3-bag sand filter suits this pump and pools up to 60,000 litres. Avoid running a much stronger pump through a small filter.

Do you deliver to Bloemfontein?

Yes, our own trucks deliver in 1 to 3 days from Polokwane. At about 13 kg this pump is in the up to 30 kg band at R550, and orders of R20,000 or more are delivered free.

Is it self-priming?

Yes, so it can sit above or below the water line and restart after backwashing without manual priming.
