Overview

This 500 L fish breeding pond is a blue, rotationally moulded tub for small-scale fish breeding, fry holding and starter aquaculture. It is made from food-grade virgin LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), measures 1200 mm across by 540 mm deep and weighs only 10 kg, so one or two people can carry it to the site. It is a freestanding above-ground pond with no assembly, which makes it a sensible first pond for a new fish breeding project. Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Bloemfontein, Mbombela and Rustenburg. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) qualify for free delivery. This pond ships at about 12 kg, so it falls in the lightest band. Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model.
