6 Inch Water-Filled Borehole Motor, 7.5 kW, 380 V Three-Phase

Description

Overview

The 7.5 kW version of our 6 inch water-filled borehole motor runs on 380 V three-phase and has enough shaft power for the mid-size pump ends in the SP17, SP30, SP46 and SP60 families. It arrives with 6 m of motor lead, ready for your drop cable. Water-filled motors can usually be rewound after a burn-out, so a failure does not always mean a new motor.

This motor is matched to the SP17-13, SP30-7, SP30-8, SP46-05 and SP60-04 pump ends and is rated to 35 bar.

Key features

• 7.5 kW output on 380 V three-phase power
• 6 inch diameter fits standard 6 inch motor pump sets
• 6 m motor lead supplied
• Water-filled construction, usually rewindable
• 35 bar pressure rating
• Suits pump ends SP17-13, SP30-7, SP30-8, SP46-05 and SP60-04

Where it works

This size turns up on Free State and North West irrigation boreholes, on stock watering schemes in the Karoo, and on municipal top-up boreholes where the old motor has been standing in the hole for years. Mines use the same size for dewatering pumps on smaller ore bodies.

Pair it with a 30Y intelligent pump controller for dry-run and overload protection; it covers motors from 5.5 to 15 kW. Match the motor power and voltage to your pump end and supply, and if you are unsure, send us your pump model first. See the wider borehole pump range. A lighter option is the 5.5 kW motor, and the next step up is the 9.2 kW motor.
