Overview

This is the complete replacement hydraulic stack for DL8 vertical multistage pumps, from DL8-20 to DL8-200. The stack is the heart of the pump: the impellers, stage chambers (diffusers) and shaft that build pressure. Sand, grit or running dry wears it, and the pump loses pressure and flow.

A new stack restores original performance for much less than a new pump, because the motor, base and outer sleeve are re-used. For a bigger duty, see the DL64-20 11 kW multistage pump or the DL64-30 18.5 kW multistage pump.

How do I choose the right DL8 stack?

Read the model on your pump nameplate, for example DL8-110. The number after the dash tells you the stage count, and the stack must match it exactly. A stack with a different number of stages will not fit the sleeve or give the right pressure. Send us a photo of the nameplate and we will confirm the part.

Should I replace the mechanical seal too?

Yes, we recommend it. The seal is sold separately under code 95020103 and fits DL8, DL12, DL16 and DL20 pumps. Fitting a new seal while the pump is already apart costs little and avoids opening it again soon. Ask us to quote the seal and stack together.

Is it cheaper than buying a new pump?

Usually, yes. The stack is the part that wears, and the motor, base and outer sleeve are re-used. Prices run from R 4,208 for the DL8-20 to R 23,696 for the DL8-200. If the motor or sleeve is also damaged, a new pump may make more sense.

Do you deliver a DL8 stack to Rustenburg?
