Description

Overview

The DL12 replacement hydraulic stack is the complete cartridge of impellers, stage chambers (diffusers) and shaft that builds pressure inside a DL12 vertical multistage pump. Sand, grit and running dry wear the impellers until the pump loses pressure and flow. A new stack brings the pump back to its original performance for much less than a new pump, because the motor, base and outer sleeve are re-used. One page covers all 13 models, from the DL12-20 at R 4,016 to the DL12-180.

To choose the right stack, read the model on the pump nameplate, for example DL12-80. The number after the dash gives the stage count (-40 means 4 stages) and the stack must match it exactly, otherwise it will not fit the sleeve or give the right pressure. Send us a photo of the nameplate and we will confirm the part.

How do I know which DL12 stack I need?

Read the model on your pump nameplate, for example DL12-80. The number after the dash gives the stage count (-40 means 4 stages), and the stack must match it exactly or it will not fit the sleeve. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the nameplate and we will confirm the part before you order.

Should I replace the mechanical seal too?

Yes, we recommend it. The mechanical seal is sold separately under code 95020103 and fits DL8, DL12, DL16 and DL20 pumps. Fitting a new seal while the pump is open saves a second strip-down later. Ask us to add it to your order.

Can you deliver a DL12 stack to Rustenburg or Upington?
