Overview

The SUB40/50 repair kit is a service set of replacement vanes, O-rings and seals for SUB40 and SUB50 vane transfer pumps. When a pump loses flow, struggles to prime or leaks around the shaft, worn vanes and perished seals are the usual cause, and this kit replaces them in one go. It brings a tired pump back close to its original flow and pressure.

The signs are falling flow, a pump that is slow to prime, noise from the pump body, or fuel weeping at the seals. Vanes wear down with use, especially with dirty fuel. If flow has dropped below the rated figure after the strainer is clean, a vane and seal service is the next step.
