A polypropylene socket is the straight joiner you reach for when two lengths of Class 3 or Class 6 low-density polyethylene pipe must become one. Each socket joins two pipes of the same diameter, so it suits extending a run or cutting out a damaged section.

It is made for Class 3 and Class 6 low-density polyethylene (LDPE) pipe of the same size on both sides. Match the socket size, from 15 mm to 50 mm, to the pipe's outside diameter. For HDPE pipe, look at our compression couplers instead.
Can I use it on a pressurised irrigation line?
Yes, it is designed for irrigation and water reticulation lines using Class 3 and Class 6 LDPE pipe. We do not have a separate pressure figure for this fitting, so ask us if your line runs at high pressure and we will confirm the right part.
