Description

Overview

The 2.2 kW Vega AR200 is the mid-size controller in the range, a variable speed drive for one booster pump. It matches pump speed to real-time water demand, so pressure stays steady whether one tap or five are running.

It is rated 2.2 kW on a 230 V, 50 Hz three-phase supply, with soft start and stop, dry-run and overload protection and a digital LED display showing run/stop and pump status. It is aimed at single-pump domestic and light-commercial boosters. The pump is not included, so check that your motor rating and supply voltage match before ordering, and send us the nameplate if you are not sure. The 1.5 kW single-phase AR200 and the 3 kW 380 V version cover the other motor sizes.

Where it works

Use it on a booster feeding a farmhouse and worker housing in the Free State, a small hotel or lodge, or a light-commercial building in Gauteng that runs one pump from a tank. No. This is the controller only. The pump motor must be rated to suit the 2.2 kW three-phase controller, so send us the pump nameplate if you want us to check before you order.

What does constant pressure control do?

The controller varies pump speed to match demand. That keeps pressure steady when several taps run, avoids repeated hard starts, and protects the motor from dry running and overload.
