This 2.2 kW variable speed booster pump keeps water pressure constant by changing the motor speed to match demand. It is a clean-water multistage pump with a built-in drive and a pressure transducer, running on a normal 230V single-phase supply. It is pre-wired with a plug, so it is simple to connect to a tank or borehole line.

When taps open, the pump speeds up. When demand drops, it slows down or stops, which saves electricity and spares the motor from hard starts. The maker quotes up to 80 percent energy saving compared with a fixed-speed set. A variable speed booster pump suits homes, lodges and irrigation lines where steady pressure matters.

Will this pump run on a normal plug in my house?

It is 230V single phase and pre-wired with a plug, but 2.2 kW draws a high current, so have an electrician confirm your circuit, breaker and cable size. Many installers put it on its own dedicated circuit. Ask us if you need the motor current for your design.

Can I use it to pump from a tank or a borehole?

It is a clean-water booster, so it works well from a tank. For a borehole, use it after a tank or as a booster, not to lift water from deep down. Keep the suction line air-tight and short to avoid cavitation and dry running.
