Description

Overview

This is a complete replacement hydraulic stack, also called a pump cartridge, for DL16 vertical multistage pumps. The stack is the heart of the pump: the impellers, stage chambers (diffusers) and shaft that build pressure. Sand, grit or running dry wears the impellers until the pump loses pressure and flow. Fitting a new stack restores the original performance for much less than a new pump, because the motor, base and outer sleeve are re-used. Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Durban and Rustenburg. The largest stack ships at about 18 kg, in the up to 30 kg band at R550. Fees are set by total order weight: 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, over 100 kg on quotation. How do I choose the right DL16 stack?

Read the model on your pump nameplate, for example DL16-90. The number after the dash gives the stage count, and the stack must match it exactly or it will not fit the sleeve. Pick the same model in the Options list. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the nameplate and we will confirm the part.

Do I need to replace the mechanical seal as well?

We recommend it. The seal is sold separately under code 95020103, which fits DL8, DL12, DL16 and DL20 pumps. Changing it while the pump is apart avoids a second strip-down later. Ask us to add it to your order.

Do you deliver the DL16 stack to Cape Town?

Yes. Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, Cape Town included. Even the largest stack is about 18 kg, so delivery is R550 in the up to 30 kg band. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free.
