Overview

This replacement solar pump controller is for the 3HR750-140 and 3HR1200-180 solar pumps, the largest pumps in the 3HR range. It sits above ground between your solar panels and the pump, soft-starts the brushless DC motor and protects it against under-voltage, over-voltage, overload and running dry. When the controller fails, the whole system stops, so replacing it is the quickest route back to running water.

Controllers are matched to the pump size, so check your pump or controller label before you order. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the label and we will confirm. If only the electronics are dead, the PC board for the same two pumps costs less. Where it works

The 3HR750 and 3HR1200 handle the bigger solar water jobs: cattle and game water schemes in the Northern Cape and Limpopo, orchard and vineyard supply in the Western Cape, and lodge or village systems where the grid is unreliable. The controller takes the weather, so keep a spare on hand for remote sites. Fit it above ground, preferably in shade, and have your installer check panel voltage and cable runs when you refit.

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, George, Upington and Kimberley. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free.
