Overview

This rotor and stator set is the replacement pumping element for the 3 inch helical-rotor 3HR and 3HRI solar borehole pumps. The rotor turns inside a rubber stator and moves the water up the pipe, so when either part wears, the pump loses head and flow. Fitting a fresh set is the usual repair, and it costs a fraction of a new pump.

The elements wear fastest in sandy water, which is common on boreholes in Limpopo, the Northern Cape and the Free State. If your pump still runs but delivers less than it used to, or struggles to reach the tank at the top of the rise, the rotor and stator are the first place to look. Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Upington, Mahikeng, Gqeberha and Polokwane. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free.
