1″ Suction Hose Kit with Quick Release Couplers and Ball Valves

Description

Overview

This suction hose kit gives you the hose, couplers and valves to connect a pump to its water source in one box. The hose is 1 inch spiral reinforced, which keeps it open under suction instead of collapsing as a plain hose would.

The kit has two nylon quick release couplers so you can connect and disconnect the hose without tools, and two PVC ball valves to isolate the pump or the source when you service it. A 1-1/2 inch to 1 inch reducer is included for pumps with a larger inlet. It is a sensible accessory for booster pump and VSD installations that draw from a tank, dam or sump.

Where it works

It suits booster pumps drawing from JoJo-style rainwater tanks in KZN, farm dams in the Free State and Limpopo, and sumps at workshops and small mines.
