Overview

The FM-200 is a 1″ chemical flowmeter with a plastic (PP/PPE) body that measures AdBlue, water and mild water-based chemicals between 10 and 120 L/min. It fits inline after an IBC or drum pump and shows how much product has passed, with typical accuracy around ±1%. Maximum line pressure is 2 bar, so it belongs on low-pressure transfer lines.

Aluminium diesel meters corrode on AdBlue and many dosing chemicals, which is why a plastic-bodied meter is the safer choice for these fluids. Our supplier describes the register as electronic, so ask us to confirm the display type if it matters to your application.

Questions about this product

Can I use it for AdBlue?

Yes. AdBlue is one of the main uses for this meter. Its plastic body does not corrode the way aluminium diesel meters do on urea solution. Keep the line pressure below 2 bar, which suits most IBC transfer pumps for AdBlue, and flush with clean water if the meter will stand unused.

Which chemicals can it handle?

It is meant for water, AdBlue and mild water-based chemicals such as some fertilisers and cleaning products. Strong acids, solvents and fuels may damage the plastic body or seals. Send us the product's safety data sheet before ordering and we will confirm compatibility rather than guess.

Can I use it on diesel?

We do not recommend it. Diesel and oils are better measured with an aluminium mechanical or oval gear meter rated for fuel, such as our FM150 or FM120. The FM-200 is built around chemical and water use, and its 2 bar pressure rating is low for many fuel pumps.
