Overview

This bulk flowmeter calibrator is the calibration adjuster unit for M40, M50, M80 and M100 bulk meters. It sits between the measuring chamber and the register, and turning it changes how many litres the register shows per revolution of the meter. That is how you correct a meter that has drifted high or low over time.

Meters wear as they age, and changes in fuel temperature, pump speed or pipework can move readings. With a working adjuster you can prove the meter against a calibrated can and correct it on site. If the old unit has seized or its seal is broken, replacing it is cheaper than replacing the meter. Part code M80C.

Where it works

A bulk flowmeter calibrator is a service item for fuel distributors, tanker operators and mine fuel bays from Limpopo to the Northern Cape, where meters are proved on a schedule.
