Overview

This oil nozzle with digital flowmeter is a hand-held dispensing nozzle with a 1/2″ BSP connection and an electronic oval-gear meter built in. You squeeze, fill and read the litres on the LCD, so there is no separate meter to plumb in. It suits workshops, fleet service bays and farm stores that issue oil and diesel in smaller quantities.

The display shows a batch total that resets for each fill and a cumulative total that keeps running. Accuracy is about ±1% under normal conditions after calibration, so check it against a certified measure if you use it for charging customers. Working pressure is 0.3 MPa, and it is powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries.

Can I use this nozzle for petrol?

No. It is rated for diesel, biodiesel, kerosene and light oils. Do not use it for petrol unless you have an explosion-proof unit specified. Contact us if you need to meter petrol.

Does the meter reset between fills?

Yes. The batch total resets for each fill, while the cumulative total is kept for your records. Write down the cumulative figure regularly so you can reconcile it against your stock.

What accuracy can I expect?

About ±1% under normal conditions. For trade or custody use, calibrate it against a certified measure. It works best at steady flows within the 1 to 30 L/min range.

What connection does it take?

It takes a 1/2" BSP connection. Tell us your hose or pump fitting and we will confirm that it fits before we ship, so you do not end up with the wrong adaptor on the day of installation.
