Description

Overview

The FS200DPS is a micro flowmeter for measuring small, steady flows that a normal fuel meter cannot see, from 0.2 L/min (down to 0.1 L/min at the bottom of its range) up to 10 L/min. Its rotor turns in the stream and the electronics show the volume on an LCD.

The body and rotor are PPS engineering plastic with a 304 stainless steel shaft and NBR O-ring, which suits diesel, light oils, water-based fluids and AdBlue. Ports are G1/2″ thread, working pressure stays under 10 bar, and it runs from a 3V DC supply.

Accuracy is about ±1% in normal use. For critical dosing, check it against a measuring cylinder at your actual flow.

Where it works

A micro flowmeter suits jobs measured in cups rather than drums: dosing chemicals into irrigation lines on Western Cape vineyards, measuring AdBlue top-ups, metering fuel to small engines and test rigs, and checking additive injection at a depot. Questions about this product

Can I use this micro meter for AdBlue?

Yes. The body and rotor are PPS plastic with a stainless shaft, which handles AdBlue far better than aluminium, which AdBlue attacks. Rinse it with clean water if it will stand unused for weeks, because dried urea crystals can stick the rotor. Check the reading against a measuring jug at your normal flow.

Will it measure fuel use on my generator?

It reads from about 0.2 L/min, which is 12 litres an hour, so it suits larger generators and engines under load. Small generators that burn only a few litres an hour fall below its range. For those, the 2-90 L/h micro flowmeter is the right tool. Tell us the engine size and we will advise.
