Overview
The micro digital flowmeter is an inline meter that measures small, steady flows between 200 and 5000 litres per hour and shows the result on a battery-powered LCD. It sits in a 1″ line, so it bolts into most small transfer setups without reducers. We fit this size where a full fuel meter is too coarse: generator day tanks, small engine test rigs and dosing lines where you need to know how many litres actually went through.
It forms part of our fuel dispensing equipment range. Pair it with the OGM-25 220V preset flowmeter or the pulser for M-series bulk meters for a complete setup.

Where it works
On farms in Limpopo and the Free State we use the micro digital flowmeter to track diesel into standby generators during load-shedding, so the manager can see real consumption per run. Workshops use it on engine test benches, and treatment plants put it on chemical or additive lines. It also suits mine plant rooms where a small pump feeds a burner or heater.
Fitting tip from the workshop: put a fine strainer ahead of the meter, because small rotors jam on rust flakes and tank sludge long before a big meter would notice. Mount it with the arrow pointing in the direction of flow, keep it out of direct sun where you can, and run a measured 10 litres through it once installed to confirm the reading before you rely on the totals.

Questions about this product
Can it measure diesel going into a generator?
Yes, that is one of the main jobs we sell it for. Put it in the supply line between the day tank and the generator, and it will total what passes through between 200 and 5000 L/h. Most standby sets on farms and small businesses draw well inside that range, so you get a clear picture of fuel burn during load-shedding.
Does it need a power supply?
No. The meter runs on a built-in 3V DC battery that powers the LCD, so you do not have to run a cable or tap into a vehicle battery. Keep a spare battery in the workshop drawer and check the display every few months, especially if the meter sits in direct sun on a hot Limpopo site.
Will it pump or measure petrol?
It does not pump anything, it only measures, and we do not recommend it for petrol. It is meant for diesel, light oils and similar clean fluids. For petrol or solvents you need a meter built for flammable, low flash-point liquids. Tell us what you are moving and we will point you to the right meter.
