Overview

This flowmeter pulser is a pulse transmitter that fits to the register of M-40, M-50 and M-80 bulk meters and sends a train of electronic pulses as fuel passes. Each pulse stands for a set volume, so a fuel management system, PLC or remote counter can total the delivery without anyone reading the dial.

The mechanical register keeps working, which gives you a backup reading if the electronics or cabling fail. That is the simplest way to bring an existing mechanical meter into an automated system without replacing it.

Will the pulser work with my fuel management system?

Most fuel management systems and PLCs accept a pulse input, but signal type, voltage and pulses per litre must match. Send us the make and model of your controller and its input specification, and we will confirm the pulser setup before you order. That saves a wasted trip to site.

Does the pulser fit the M-100 meter?

This pulser is listed for the M-40, M-50 and M-80 registers. The M-100 uses a different decalitre register, so ask us about a pulser for that model. Send a photo of the register face and the meter nameplate and we will check what fits.
