Overview

The FS100DIS is a fuel consumption flow meter that measures very small flows in litres per hour, from 2 up to 90 L/h. That is the range a generator, tractor or pump engine actually burns, so you can see real consumption instead of guessing from tank dips.

It has an aluminium body with G1/4″ ports that suit engine fuel lines, a working pressure of 0 to 12 bar (under 16 bar maximum) and a 3V DC supply. The volume shows on an LCD, with about ±1% accuracy in normal use.

At half a kilogram, it mounts straight in the supply line between filter and pump without a bracket.

Questions about this product

Can I measure my generator diesel use with this?

Yes, that is its main job. Fit it in the fuel supply line after the filter so it reads what the engine draws. Engines with a fuel return line need a second meter on the return, or a setup where returned fuel goes back after the meter, otherwise you count fuel that comes straight back to the tank.

Is the aluminium body suitable for AdBlue?

No. AdBlue attacks aluminium, so use this meter on diesel, paraffin and light oils only. For AdBlue or water-based fluids, choose one of our PPS-bodied micro flowmeters for 0.2-10 L/min or 0.1-10 L/min, which are made from materials that resist urea solution.

Yes. Our own trucks run from Polokwane to all nine provinces, normally in 1 to 3 days, and Louis Trichardt is on the route.
