Overview

This digital metering nozzle is an automatic fuel nozzle with an electronic flowmeter and display, built on a slim body with a 3/4″ inlet and 19 mm outlet. It measures up to 60 L/min, shows each fill and a running total, and shuts off by itself when the tank is full. It runs on two AAA batteries, which are not included.

The smaller inlet makes it a good match for 20 mm hose on bakkie bowsers, lube trucks and service vehicles, where a heavy 1″ nozzle feels clumsy. At 1.7 kg it is easy to hold steady. If your hose is 25 mm, the auto shut-off digital nozzle with 1″ inlet is the direct fit.

Use this digital metering nozzle on a 20 mm hose fitted to a bakkie sakkie serving contractors in the Western Cape, on a mine service truck in the Northern Cape, or at a small municipal fuel point where each vehicle’s fill is logged. Questions about this product

What is the difference between this and the 1" auto stop nozzle?

Mainly the inlet and body size. This model has a 3/4" inlet and a slimmer 1.7 kg body, suited to 20 mm hose on service vehicles. The other auto shut-off nozzle takes a 1" inlet for 25 mm hose. Both shut off automatically and show litres on a digital display, so choose by hose size.

What batteries does it need?

It runs on two AAA batteries, which are not included in the box. Fit good-quality alkaline cells and keep a spare pair in the vehicle. Replace them when the display dims or flickers, because weak batteries can affect the reading before the screen goes completely blank.

Will it fit my 25 mm hose?

Not directly. The supplier lists a 3/4" inlet, which suits 20 mm hose. You can fit it to a larger hose with a reducer, but flow may be restricted. If your system already runs 25 mm hose, the 1" inlet auto stop nozzle is the simpler fit. Ask us to confirm before ordering.
