Overview

This 2 inch lockable ball valve is a quarter-turn shut-off valve in 304 stainless steel, with a lever that has a lock tab so you can padlock the line open or closed.

This is the largest valve in our lockable range, for 2 inch bulk-transfer lines. Stainless steel resists corrosion on wet or outdoor lines. The supplier does not state a pressure rating or thread type, so tell us your pipe and working pressure and we will confirm before you order.

How do I lock the 2 inch ball valve?

Turn the lever to the open or closed position and fit your own padlock through the lock tab on the lever, so the valve cannot be turned by anyone without the key. The padlock is not included. This is a simple control for tank outlets, bowser lines and shared yards where product must not be drawn off.

Is the valve really stainless steel?

The body is 304 stainless steel, which is a common grade for water, fuel and mild chemical lines. It resists rust well in wet and coastal conditions. The supplier does not state the seal material or pressure rating, so ask us if your liquid is aggressive or your line runs at high pressure.
