This 1.5 inch shear valve is a double poppet shear (impact) valve for the outlet of a fuel bowser or tanker, designed so that the poppets close if the valve is struck and sheared, which holds the product in the tank.

The body is cast aluminium with a stainless steel shaft and Viton or Buna-N seals, with female 1.5 inch ports.
