This 1.5 inch angle check valve is a one-way valve for fuel suction lines: product flows towards the pump, and the valve closes when flow stops so the line stays full and the pump keeps its prime.

The body is cast iron with Buna-N (nitrile) seals, and the angle pattern turns the line through a bend, which saves an elbow fitting in tight pipework. The supplier does not state a pressure rating, so ask us before using it on a pressurised line. Model code CH005.

What does an angle check valve do on a diesel suction line?

It lets fuel flow one way, from the tank towards the pump, and shuts against reverse flow. That keeps the suction line full so the pump does not run dry on start-up. The angle body also turns the pipe through a bend, so you can skip a separate elbow fitting in a tight installation.

What is the valve made of and what pressure can it take?
