Overview

The GJSm1100 combo is a 1.1 kW stainless steel self-priming jet pump supplied pre-assembled with an automatic flow controller, wiring and a 3-point moulded plug. Connect the pipes, plug it in and it runs by itself: it starts when you open a tap and stops when the flow stops. The stainless steel body keeps water clean and resists rust, and self-priming means it can draw from a tank or shallow well below the pump. Maximum head is 48 m.

Flow falls as head rises along a typical jet-pump curve: 43 m at 8 L/min, 33 m at 24 L/min, 22 m at 40 L/min and 12 m at 56 L/min, with a maximum of about 60 L/min (3.6 m³/h) at 9 m. That makes it a pressure pump for taps, showers and gardens, rather than a high-volume transfer pump.

Where it works

It suits a house fed from a rainwater tank, a shallow well on a Limpopo smallholding, or a garden tap in Gauteng. The plug-and-play setup keeps installation simple.
