This is the premium 1000 L combo: a slimline tank with an HMS750 0.75 kW Intelli Boost variable-speed pump, an in-tank UV-C light and a triple 20-inch filter set. The steel-body pump is solar friendly, so it suits a home that already runs on panels and batteries.

The pump adjusts its speed to demand, reaches up to 83.3 L/min and runs quietly with no rust-prone casing. The filters take out sand, rust, mud and chlorine, and the UV light treats the water inside the tank. This combo comes in three tank colours: green, grey and tan. Everything else in the package is identical, and the price is the same for each colour: R 17,256 (VAT incl.) for green, R 17,256 for grey and R 17,256 for tan. All three colours come with the same pump, UV unit and filters.

Can I run this combo on a solar and battery system?

The HMS750 pump is listed as solar friendly. Check your inverter can handle the pump's starting current, which is higher than its running power. Tell us your system size and we will help you judge. A soft-start or a generous inverter rating helps with pumps of this type.

How is the HMS750 different from the CPM158 pump combos?

The HMS750 has a variable-speed drive and a steel body, so it adjusts to demand and runs quietly, but flows up to 83.3 L/min. The CPM158 is a cast-iron pump with 120 L/min and 32 m of head. Choose the HMS for solar and quiet; the CPM for pure flow.
