Overview

The JSWM110 is a 1.1 kW self-priming cast-iron jet pump, supplied pre-assembled with an automatic flow controller. Jet pumps can lift water from a tank or shallow well lower than the pump, typically up to about 8 m of suction, which normal centrifugal pumps cannot do. It runs on 220 to 240 V, reaches 52 m head and delivers up to 80 L/min (4.8 m³/h), the highest flow of the jet pumps we list. Compare it with the smaller 0.75 kW JLM75.

The curve: 46.3 m head at 5 L/min, 39.5 m at 20 L/min, 31.2 m at 40 L/min, 27.9 m at 50 L/min, 15 m at 60 L/min and 4 m at 80 L/min. Stronger flow at low head makes it suited to houses with several outlets or a garden irrigation line.

Can I use the JSWM110 to pump from a dam?

Only if the water is clean and the dam level is within about 8 m of the pump. It is a self-priming jet pump for clean water from tanks and shallow sources. Muddy or sandy dam water will wear it, so use a pre-filter and a foot valve.

Does it come with a plug?
