This 0.75 kW peripheral water pump only is the highest-pressure pump-only unit here: up to 60 m head at 60 L/min and 9.4 kg net.
It suits drip and micro-sprinkler systems where pressure matters more than volume. It has no switch or controller, so wire it into your own pressure control. Compare the monoblock options in water pumps and booster pumps if you need more litres per minute.

Where it works
Typical jobs are drip and micro irrigation in the Western Cape, feeding roof tanks in Gauteng and pressure boosting at agricultural pack houses in Limpopo. Choose 0.75 kW peripheral pump kit for a kit with the switch, or 0.55 kW peripheral pump, pump only for a lower-power option.
Installation notes: mount the pump on rubber feet near the water source, with a short airtight suction line and a foot valve and strainer if it lifts water. This model gives 60 L/min (3.6 m³/h) at 60 m of head, with a maximum working pressure of 8 bar, so do not leave it running against a closed outlet. Run the pump at least once a week, keep sand out of the water, and let a qualified electrician make the electrical connection.

How much head does it really give?
Up to 60 m at 60 L/min, with a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar. Flow drops as head rises, so use the numbers as the best-case figures. At the lower end of its range it moves more water, so choose the operating point with your fitting sizes in mind.
Do I need a pressure vessel?
A small pressure vessel reduces start-ups on drip systems, but it is optional. Fit a pressure switch to start and stop the pump automatically. Without one, short bursts of use cause frequent start-ups, which wear the pump sooner than steady running.
Is it suitable for borewater with sand?
No. Peripheral pumps need clean water without abrasive particles. Add a filter or use a different pump for sandy water. A basic inlet strainer or filter is cheap protection and worth fitting on any peripheral pump. Sand wears the brass impeller and the seal quickly, so a filter pays for itself.
