Overview

This is the CPM70 1.5 kW booster pump supplied as a combo with automatic pressure control, so it starts when you open a tap and stops when you close it. It moves up to 400 L/min (24 m³/h) at a maximum head of 28 m. That makes it a practical way to lift water from a storage tank to a house, a garden or a set of sprinklers without anyone standing at a switch. If you already have your own controller, the CPM70 pump on its own costs less.

The pump body is cast iron with a brass impeller, a 304 stainless steel shaft and a ceramic-graphite seal. The single-phase 230 V, 50 Hz motor has a capacitor and thermal overload protector, Class B insulation and IP44 protection.

Where it works

Use it to give a house steady tap and shower pressure from a rainwater or municipal storage tank, or to run a drip or sprinkler block on a farm in Limpopo or Mpumalanga.
