Overview

This 25 mm suction hose kit connects a tank outlet or water source to the inlet of a small pump, using one matched set of fittings. The model code is SHK25MM.

A compact ball valve sits at the start of the line, so you can shut off the water and service or remove the pump without draining the tank. Male and female quick couplers break the connection in seconds, and the short yellow hose takes up the small misalignment between a tank outlet and a pump inlet. Where it works

Use it wherever a small pump draws from a storage tank: a rainwater tank behind a house in Gauteng, a borehole tank feeding a lodge in Limpopo, or a header tank on a smallholding in Mpumalanga. It also suits a temporary set-up at a dam or trough, where the quick couplers let you pack the hose away after pumping. Installers keep a few on the bakkie for pump swaps, because the ball valve means a pump change does not cost a tank of water.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Mbombela, Rustenburg and Tzaneen. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free.
