Overview

This large pump cover shields a 1.1 kW or bigger pump from sun, rain and dust, and doubles as a sturdy step. The model code is Pcover Large.

It is moulded from high quality plastic and will carry 100 kg, so you can stand on it to check the water level at the top of the tank. The cover is made in colours to match your tank, and it is designed to be adapted on installation, so you cut the openings you need for the suction hose and the cables. At 765 mm long, 370 mm wide and 700 mm high it gives a booster or transfer pump room to breathe. Where it works

A tank-side pump in full sun does not last. Fit the cover over a booster pump next to a rainwater tank in Gauteng, over the pump on a farm tank in Limpopo, or on a lodge water system in Mpumalanga where hail and dust are part of life. Because it takes 100 kg, it also gives you a safe step for opening the lid and checking the level.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Mbombela, Tzaneen and Rustenburg. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free. This item ships at 5.5 kg, so on its own it falls in the R550 delivery band. Ask us for the warranty terms on this model.
