Overview

This 32 mm suction hose kit gives a pump with a 32 mm inlet a valved, quick-release connection to a tank or water source. The model code is SHK32MM.

The kit is built around a 32 mm ball valve, so the water can be shut off while you service or remove the pump. Male and female 32 mm quick couplers make the join in seconds, and the short yellow hose takes up misalignment between the outlet and the pump. A reducing nipple steps between 32 and 40 mm, which covers the common tank outlet sizes, and a 32 mm nipple is included for the pump side. Where it works

This is the kit for the mid-size pumps that sit beside a storage tank: a rainwater or borehole tank on a Limpopo farm, a header tank at a Western Cape wine estate, or the tank behind a guesthouse in KZN. It also suits workshop and test benches where you swap pumps often, because the valve and quick couplers let you disconnect one pump and fit the next in a minute.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, with regular runs to Cape Town, George, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Polokwane and Johannesburg. Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free.
